Dear all,
It is with regret that the Fahrenheit Festival 2009 due to take place this Friday 7th, 8th and 9th of August has been forced to reschedule.
We are all very sorry for any inconvience caused but due to last minute circumstances beyond our control we have had to take this action now as to avoid the participants of the festival any further disruption. Building on the many partnerships and collaborations that define Fahrenheit we will be back to you soon with details of a number of exciting events and opportunities for unsigned bands and artists.
Many Thanks.
The Fahrenheit Festival Team
Rio keen on Fahrenheit:
Rio Ferdinand, who has helped artists from the tougher areas of Manchester to get their sounds out there and therefore enabled them to search out more creative avenues, has become involved with Fahrenheit.
As well as offering one or two of those artists to play at Fahrenheit, Rio is hoping he can attend one of the days of the festival.
Check out what Rio is up to on rioferdinand.com and get a chance to win two pairs of tickets to Fahrenheit.

The Rock Art Collective
All set to deliver on Fahrenheit's Friday evening, 8pm till late on the 7th August 09!
The Rock Art Collective is a multi-media, audio-visual show the likes of which has not been seen in the UK for many a year. Taking its inspiration from Andy Warhol’s Exploding Plastic Inevitable, the event showcases the music of four exciting, emerging young bands (in alphabetical order), Ape, Ghost in Mirrors, Longspoon and Spirits of the Twelve, but features, amongst others, performance artists, dancers, Dj and a light-show!
Harking back to the spirit of early clubs like UFO and Middle Earth, but with a unique modern twist, the Rock Art Collective seeks to stimulate all of the senses rather than the aural channel only, at the same time offering a chance to experience exciting, fresh sounds from budding new talent.
This is a unique collective of talent that has appeal to all ages and one that really must not be missed!!
