White Collar Weapons

As a wee lad, Gareth Sacala would go to the phone-box at bounds green and call his friend Kieran Rafferty, now songwriter and bandleader of White Collar Weapons. Kieran would send variable qualities of music down the line and Gareth would give encouragement. The first
incarnation of White Collar Weapons - 'The Mornings' - enjoyed it's only ever gig in drummer Sam Bennett's bedroom.

Ten years later, they are playing packed shows across London and ploughing new seams of spit-folk, blue-eyed soul and college rock. A cascade of top musicians has been recruited in the form of a brass section, Chris Chen (Chris Chen quartet) and Will Morgan (the
philbys), violinist Tim Lacey (monkey - journey to the west), drummer Dan Harley (The Sagens) and bassist Tom Parkinson (summer holiday).

Their debut e.p. Kieran Rafferty and the White Collar Weapon - 'Four To Forget' is available on iTunes and Spotify from 24th August - preferable to listening in a phone-box.
