The Myst
The Myst are an up and coming British band who have a unique earthy, raw sound. The Myst work with the creative tension of trying to push music boundaries whilst still honouring the traditional art of writing solid, real songs, that speak to the human heart and inspire the soul.
The Myst are a fusion of two families from Sussex - Wilson/Davies. The three main singers are Natasha, John and Peter Wilson (all siblings). They are joined by their Father on percussion Dave Wilson, who brings in different world instruments to their sound. The line up is completed by two twin brothers Mike and Simon Davies who make up the drum and bass rhythm section.
They have just completed their debut album 'White Buffalo', recorded at Rockfield studios in Wales by producer Matt Butler.(Mick Jagger Paul McCartney, Katie Melua) to be released in July and distributed by Matchbox/Universal.
The Myst performance highlights so far have been performing at both Guifest and Guestlingbury festival , supported The Levellers- Mark Chadwick at The Dirty south, Headlined at the Carling Academy Islington and Cafe De Paris London.
The Myst have appeared in NME and Pulse Magazine.
