The Divine Secret
A-Z Listings

Head

Divine Secret formed in the rock crucible that is small-town England, where you either rot slowly into middle age or form a band. However, Divine Secret’s determination and sheer brilliance have seen them lift above the pack, topping tourdates.co.uk charts and winning Best
Alternative Act at the Exposure Music Awards 2009, on top of Getting glowing reviews from the likes of Kerrang!, Egg Magazine & Tourdates.co.uk

Singer/guitarist Joe and drummer Ben met when they were 15 and have been in bands together ever since. When Barny joined The Divine Secret on bass, they began the enthusiastic touring that helped to build their fiercely loyal fan base.

The Divine Secret are one of the best kept secrets in the UK and their incendiary live shows have become legendary during and playing with some highly sought after bands such as Johnny Truant, The Duke Spirit, Baddies, Pulled Apart By Horses, Johnny Foreigner & Future of the Left, as well playing 2000 Trees Festival Main Stage 2008 and Main Stage at Fahrenheit Festival 2009, in addition to gracing the Nokia unsigned tent at Donnington’s Download Festival.

"This 3 piece really impressed with their tight sound. Good songs, this is a band to watch."
- KERRANG RADIO 105.2

"It's not often I hear a man’s voice that I’d like to make sweet love to - but in vocalist Joe Green, I think my 'Divine secrets' out..."
- EGG magazine

“Without doubt the most exciting band I’ve seen..."
- Evan Burgess - BBC Radio Introducing

"Every influence for every member is totally different. It made for an awesome mix...the likes that I believe has been missing in the London scene for a while."
- ChasingSafety.co.uk
