Single: ‘SAVE A LIFE’
Release Date: 15th June 2009

Label: Creeky Recordings

With the release of debut single "Save A Life" on 15th June 2009,
Deptford trio TAPETHERADIO have finally opened the door and introduced
us to their world..it's a world that might not always be pretty, but
it's real.

TTR HQ is in a secluded junkyard by the creek in Deptford. It's a
place they call home and it's where they make everything
happen....themselves.
Home-grown and DIY in the truest sense, the band have already had
great support from Steve Lamacq, Colin Murray and Jon Kennedy after
they sent demos of the tune with hand written notes in the post late
last year.

Formed in March 2008 after Ben (Bass Guitar) left his native San
Fransisco to team up with Canadian uber drummer Bryan and singer
guitarist MC, TAPETHERADIO spent every day for 6 months locked away in
TTR HQ with a steady supply of coffee and cigarettes writing and
recording new songs. It wasn't until Ken the mechanic next door
finally gave his seal of approval that they felt they were ready to
unleash their urgent, melancholic rush to the world...

The debut single has you hooked straight away with its frantic guitar
riffs and soaring vocals. While there's certainly more than a hint of
Joy Division and The Cure in the mix, some might say the darker side
of Tears For Fears creeps in too.

Not a band to do things by halves, each copy as been hand made,
packaged and numbered by the boys themselves.
They care about their music, they care about their art. You will too.

TAPETHERADIO release ‘Save A Life’ on June 15th on their own label
Creeky Recordings through Genepool/Universal.
