Oggie
Oggie is the creator and host behind the hottest new night at Ronnie Scott’s in London called ‘The Soundtrack’. The night features brand new Independent films, live music from Oggie and his band which packs new material and famous classics, as well as songs from special guests such as Vula (Basement Jaxx), Nate James, Nio & Davinah.
He is also working on a new album whilst promoting two fantastic singles, 'What I'm looking For' which is written and performed alongside Davinah, and an R&B ballad entitled ‘Eskimo Love’. Both of which are available on ‘The Soundtrack Mixtape’ purchasable at The Soundtrack only.
Oggie is the voice behind the classic Garage anthem ‘Follow Me’, released by Aim Records, who in 2004 made it into a UK anthem. In 2006 he also released the underground Garage anthem ‘YOU’ which was included in this year’s “Ministry of Sound Garage Classics 2”, which also boasts a number one spot on the underground garage charts for nearly a year.
He has recently worked with the legendary producer Ed Case releasing his third hit single, ‘All I Wanna Do’, which reached No.4 on the 1xtra Garage chart and stayed in the top 10 for 8 weeks.
Having previously done BV’s for the likes of Amy Winehouse, Omar, Mcfly and the Spice Girls, Oggie is set for a powerful future.
