Isaac's Aircraft

Isaac's Aircraft head back in to the studio week commencing June 29th
to record material for their upcoming album which is due for release
early 2010, with a single release expected for late Autumn.
They'll be working with renowned producer Paul Tipler, known for
previously producing music for Idlewild, The Charlatans and Placebo.

The release of ‘Friends & Foes’ on April 6th saw Isaac’s Aircraft
storm their way in to the Top 30 Indie Singles Chart on Radio 1 on
April 12th alongside acts like Oasis, Franz Ferdinand and Arctic
Monkeys… Not bad for a band with no major label backing!
The whirlwind of a year didn't stop there...
They supported The Zutons live in mid July and headline the Junction -
one of Cambridge's premier music venues on August 21st.

Needless to say, the band have come a long way since forming at the
back of a former factory workers house in Cambridge. They claimed
accolades on the Cambridge music scene with a summer of packed out
live shows and the release of their debut EP, "Holding Up The Line" in
2007.

'Cambridge combo Isaac's Aircraft are bucking the trend with storming
live shows and records like this one, Friends & Foes.'
Tom Robinson, BBC 6 Music

"Friends & Foes,' as featured on BBC 6 Music with Tom Robinson,
recognises the bands progression from a three piece to a four piece,
creating an all together much rockier sound, welcomed by Kerrang Radio
Unsigned show with Alex Baker.

With heavy piano influences ranging from Chopin to The Arcade Fire,
Isaac's Aircraft combine a concoction of pounding rhythms and tortured
lyrics, to create a truly refreshing and innovative new sound.

‘...After listening to friends and foes, everyone's new year's
resolution should be to eat, drink and sleep with Isaac's Aircraft!’
Jez Sallis, BBC Radio Cambridgeshire
