Everybody Be Cool

With history going back several years under other names and musical styles, the current set-up of Everybody Be Cool came about in December 2008. Formed by guitar and bass playing brothers Adam & Tom and drummer Marcus, Everybody Be Cool have created an original sound influenced by Bloc Party and Kings of Leon with the pop sensibilities of Wombats and The Feeling. Their live show is energetic and exciting whilst performing their set of tight, catchy, original songs characterised by strong vocal harmonies and upbeat anthemic choruses.

Everybody Be Cool are expanding their CV with debut radio and festival appearances, notably the Sellindge Music Festival in Kent (headlined by Supergrass) and the ‘Substock’ radio show on Hit Music Radio and the boys also have a chance to play their way into the London finals of the Surface Unsigned Festival having gained a place in one of the second-round shows.

In the latter half of 2008 Radio 1’s Jo Whiley compared the boys’ sound to The Futureheads when they played in the same wild-card auditions as the eventual winner, Tommy Reilly, in the Orange Unsigned Act competition. Since then, exciting new material has amassed and a debut EP produced by Wayne Proctor is due for release in the summer of 2009 – watch this space…
