Dastards

Coming together from Bristol and The Midlands and drawing from an eclectic set of influences - Dylan through to Muse - 4-piece DASTARDS have compiled an unusually large and varied set for such a new young band. Not surprising when you consider that frontman WAKE got his first guitar aged 4 and 18 years later, if he’s not playing the guitar - he’s thinking about playing the guitar.

Formed in 2005, they hit the national press in 2006 with their 'Shami Chakrabarti' song. DASTARDS released their first single 'What I Came For' in March 2007, and 'Flashlights' - with references to Bowie's 'Space Oddity' - was released in October 2007 with STAYING OUT being released on Feb 15th 2009. DASTARDS have recently been getting huge support and regular airplay from Kerrang Radio, 6RADIO and local BBC stations
